There are times when we are challenged.
There are times when what we know is no longer enough.
We can’t see through the fog that floats in front of us.
In these moments the only thing we can do is close our eyes and walk.
It’s a jump of faith. We feel alone and abandoned.
Oh life! We can feel it running through our veins.
When we cannot trust our ideas about life, we can still trust our perceptions: where is our heart guiding us?
Why is my heart hurt? How can I heal it?
In this age, when all the other guides failed, let our Heart be our only guidance.
So many times, every day we are called to take a position in the noisy marketplace of our societies.
The world, like a vampire, is sucking our energy so he can live on.
But a new time is coming and it requires our discernment.
Jesus, went to men and told them: “follow me”. But one man said: “ Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” (Lk 9,59 – 62).
Our heart is calling us, and there is no looking back. The old world is dead, don’t get attached to it. Let the dead bury the dead, let’s go and preach the kingdom of God. It is happening right now in our heart, but we don’t see it. We are distracted by the collapsing of our reality-dream.
Also in Genesis (12.1) the Lord tells Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you”.
Let’s notice that “country”, “nation” (people) and “family” (father’s household) form our belief system, what we think of ourselves. When God calls us, we have to live it behind.
And He says: “go to the land I will show you”, not “the land I show you”. He will show us, eventually. We can’t see the land at the beginning, we will see it only in the desert, after we lost all our reference points.
But we must have faith and be prepared to die.
“Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it”. (LK 17,33)
God is coming to the world, not as a living person but as a “dimension” in everybody’s heart: as the Living Heart.
His words are the everlasting words of our heart, unceasingly repeating “follow me” . Follow me through the burning illusion, the ever-fading sensory experience of life.
This world crisis is a portal, may we have faith and may we be strong enough to dwell in our hearts even if everything is burning.
‘Till the end of time.
